Kingston - World Champion sprinter Usain Bolt has indicated that he may be considering a career in football after athletics.

An article in the Jamaica Star's website claims the sprinter is ready to answer a call-up from Jamaica national team coach Winfried Schafer to try out for the Jamaican national team following the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Bolt is a self-confessed Manchester United supporter and once asked Sir Alex Ferguson for a trial with the Premier League champions.

Bolt posted the following message on Instagram along with the picture:

'Jamaica how we look? Hmmm..A we say to the world and anything possible.. #SeriousFace #ReggaeBoyz #ForeverFaster #FutureOption #MadTalent #AnythingPossible'
