Cape Town - The Ulster squad has arrived in South Africa ahead of Saturday's PRO14 clash against the Southern Kings at the Wolfson Stadium in Zwide (15:00 kick-off).

The Ulster coaching team has brought a group of 25 players, which will be based in Port Elizabeth.

Schalk van der Merwe could make his much-anticipated Ulster debut if the prop is selected to play against his former team.

There is plenty of experience within the panel, with five players having played over 150 games for the Irish province. Craig Gilroy is currently on 149 appearances and will reach that milestone if he's called upon for the game.

Jonny Stewart - a debutant in the game against Leinster at the weekend - has travelled to South Africa along with fellow Ulster academy player Adam McBurney.
