1995 World Cup winner hands out Bok jerseys

Cape Town - Former Springbok flyhalf Joel Stransky had the honour of presenting the team’s match-day jerseys on Friday.

The Boks are in Brisbane preparing for Saturday’s Rugby Championship Test there against the Wallabies.

The 51-year-old Stransky said on Twitter that it was an honour and a privilege to hand out the team’s jerseys.

Stransky, who played 23 Tests for the Boks between 1993 and 1996, will always be remembered for kicking the winning drop goal in the 1995 Rugby World Cup final against the All Blacks at Ellis Park.

It gave the Boks a 15-12 victory after extra time.

Saturday's Test is scheduled for 12:00 (SA time).
