Mallett: Kiwis were faultless

Cape Town - Former Springbok coach Nick Mallett has heaped praise on the All Blacks after they crushed the Wallabies 51-20 in Auckland at the weekend.

Mallett, speaking in the SuperSport studio after the game, said:

"I thought the pace that the All Blacks played with today was unbelievable. They were relentless.

"They had a great driving maul, and I thought their loose forwards were tremendous. Aaron Smith had an absolutely fabulous game. Apart from a few dropped passes by Liam Messam, it was a faultless display.

"Just a fantastic performance - 50 points against a side that you drew with last weekend says an amazing amount for the character of that team. They obviously don't want to give away their No 1 spot easily."

The All Blacks' next Test in the Rugby Championship is against Argentina in Napier on September 6.
