Cape Town - Springbok team doctor Craig Roberts has given the team a clean bill of health ahead of their Rugby Championship Test against the All Blacks in Auckland on Saturday.

Roberts told the SowetanLIVE website that there were usual "bumps and bruises" following the emphatic 38-12 win over the Wallabies at the weekend, but that all players will be available for selection this week.

Roberts said he was surprised not to report any major injuries after the Test in Brisbane.

The only minor concerns are prop Jannie du Plessis (laceration to his lip), wing Bryan Habana - who had an accidental boot to the groin - and centre JJ Engelbrecht (dead leg), but Roberts said it's "nothing really to worry about."

Meanwhile, South Africa’s first win in Brisbane for more than 40 years saw them close the gap to New Zealand on the top of the IRB rankings.

The Boks' win cut New Zealand’s cushion from 4.35 rating points to 2.7 ahead of the meeting between the two sides at Eden Park on Saturday (kick-off 09:35 SA time).
