Cape Town - Springbok hooker Malcolm Marx believes that his opposite number, Argentina's Agustin Creevy, is a "great" rugby player.

Marx is considered one of the best hookers in world rugby currently, but he only has 15 Tests to his name.

Pumas captain Creevy, meanwhile, has notched up 75 Tests since making his debut against Japan all the way back in 2005.

On Saturday, Marx and Creevy will clash in the front row once more when the Boks take on Argentina in Mendoza.

"He's a great rugby player and a good man off the field as well," Marx said of Creevy.

"He's big at the breakdown and a smart player who knows the ins and outs, the little tricks.

"Whenever we come here it's a tough game ... they just step it up in front of their home crowd.

"I think here it's a bit more emotional than it is in any other country, but we're focusing on ourselves and where we can be better this weekend."

The Boks emerged as 34-21 winners in last weekend's Rugby Championship opener against Argentina in Durban and they have named just one change to their side for Saturday's away leg.

Pieter-Steph du Toit drops to the bench while Franco Mostert comes into the second row.

Kick-off is at 21:10 (SA time).
