Cape Town - The Springboks are more dangerous with Handre Pollard at flyhalf, Ireland scrumhalf Conor Murray has said.

The Boks start their four-game year-end tour with a clash against the Six Nations champions at Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday. It will be followed by Tests against England (London, November 15), Italy (Padova, November 22) and Wales (Cardiff, November 29).

"South Africa still have their traditional strong point of big and physical players, which makes them very strong up front. But with Pollard at flyhalf, they are more attacking," Murray told Netwerk24.

"There is greater tendency to play running rugby, which makes them a more well-rounded team and more dangerous."

South Africa and Ireland have played each other on 21 occasions. The Boks have won 16, Ireland four with one match ending in a draw.

The last meeting between the two teams was a close encounter, which South Africa won 16-12 in Dublin two years ago.

Saturday's Test kicks off at 19:30 (SA time).
