PICTURE: SA Rugby's finest hour!

Cape Town - Today (June 24, 2014) marks 19 years to the day the Springboks beat the All Blacks 15-12 at Ellis Park to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup.

South Africa won courtesy of a Joel Stransky drop goal during the second half of extra time, after the match finished 9-all in regulation time.

The picture below depicts Stransky just as he's about to deliver the knockout blow which crushed New Zealand hearts.

It was South Africa's first World Cup since the Springboks' re-entry into the international fold.

The day (June 24, 1995) will be remembered as arguably the finest day in the history of Springbok rugby.
