It’s going to be a while yet… but what if the Springboks were suddenly required to assemble a squad immediately?

Almost exactly a year has passed since Siya Kolisi’s heroes lifted the Webb Ellis Cup at RWC 2019, and the national team may not see service again until a couple of weeks before (assuming any "warm-up" Tests come about) the major British and Irish Lions tour challenge in the middle of next year.

In the meantime, domestic Super Rugby Unlocked has reached roughly its midway point, tossing up more than a few names from outside the ranks of the Bok party in Japan who would earn consideration – at very least – if they reconvened a lot quicker than is anticipated.
