Cape Town - Defence and exits coach Brendan Venter has praised the Springbok coaching staff and players for their performance in their 3-0 series win over France.
The Boks won 35-12 at Ellis Park on Saturday to cap off a successful start to the year as South African rugby looks to bounce back from a disappointing year in 2016.
Venter, who is being credited with making a massive difference since his inclusion in the coaching staff, took to Twitter after the match to share some of his thoughts on the game.
Contracted with Italy as an assistant coach until the 2019 World Cup, Venter is still expected to work with the Boks throughout their Rugby Championship campaign this year.
It remains unclear exactly how his commitments to both Italy and the Boks will unfold in the months ahead, but for now it seems that Venter is very much on 'Team Springboks'.
The Rugby Chamoionship gets underway on August 19 when the Springboks host Argentina in Port Elizabeth.
