Stormers young gun Sacha Mngomezulu will captain the Junior Springboks in their Under-20 Six Nations Summer Series campaign in Italy.

Mngomezulu is normally a flyhalf but he can also slot in at centre. He did so with aplomb for the Stormers when they had a midfield crisis in the United Rugby Championship playoffs.

The 20-year-old was schooled at Bishops in Cape Town and was a phenomenal schoolboy talent.

WATCH in the video clip below just how special he was, with interview snippets of coaches predicting a big future for the youngster:

The Junior Springboks arrived in Italy on Tuesday evening and immediately went about their business to fine tune their preparations for Friday's opening match against England in Verona.

The 30-man squad flew out of Cape Town on Monday evening via Dubai, finishing their 24-hour travel schedule with a bus trip from the airport in Milan to their base in Verona.

The Junior Boks will play their second match against Ireland next Wednesday (29 June). The South Africans will complete their pool fixtures against France on Tuesday, 5 July before playing a final cross-pool fixture one week later (Tuesday, 12 July) with their opponent to be determined according to the final standings.
