Alarm bells are ringing loudly for the Stormers after another below-par effort in Super Rugby Unlocked.

The Capetonians started the tournament with wins over the Lions (23-17, Newlands) and Pumas (42-37, Nelspruit) but those performances were far from flattering.

Against the Pumas they overcame a 37-14 deficit in the final quarter, but coach John Dobson admitted it was a game they had "burgled".
