Cape Town - The Bulls got their Australia tour off to a winning start when they thrashed the Force in Perth on Friday.
The Bulls won 42-20 after leading 15-13 at half-time.
The Bulls scored five tries through No 8 Hanro Liebenberg, centre Jan Serfontein (2) and hooker Adriaan Strauss (2). Flyhalf Francois Brummer added four conversions and three penalties.
The Force replied with tries by Matt Hodgson and Kyle Godwin. Flyhalf Ian Prior added both conversions and two penalties.
The Bulls picked up a full-house of five points for their victory, but stayed second in the Africa Conference 1 behind the Stormers on points difference. They did however move ahead of the Lions in the South African Group.
The Force left empty-handed and remained bottom of the Australia Conference and the Australasian Group.
In next weekend's Round 11 action, the Bulls travel to Canberra to face the Brumbies (Friday, May 6 at 11:45 SA time), while the Force head for Tokyo to tackle the Sunwolves (Saturday, May 7 at 07:15).
