The Bulls' final Super Rugby Unlocked match of the campaign - against the Pumas at Loftus Versfeld - will have an early afternoon kick-off time on Saturday.

The franchise on Wednesday confirmed that the game, which is expected be the cherry on top of Jake White's troops' crowning as the tournament's champions, will take place at 14:00 following discussions over the relevant logistics.

It will be followed by the central derby between the Cheetahs and Griquas in Bloemfontein.

However, the match will still be subject to the Pumas, who still have seven players in quarantine, delivering a clean set of Covid-19 tests on Thursday.

Should that be the case, the Lowvelders will only have one training session before the match, though director of rugby, Jimmy Stonehouse, has previously stated that honouring the fixture is important not only for the upcoming Currie Cup campaign, but also commercial exposure to their sponsors.

Even if the game doesn't receive a green light, the Bulls will still finish top of the log by virtue of a superior points difference to the Sharks and Stormers, who had their clash at Kings Park this weekend cancelled due to an outbreak among the Durbanites' props.
