Cape Town - The Sharks have named their 25-man squad to travel to New Zealand for Saturday's Super Rugby quarter-final against the Hurricanes in Wellington.
As expected, Pat Lambie's name was missing form the squad list, but there is some good news for coach Gary Gold.
The most noticeable inclusions were in the form of Wille le Roux and Paul Jordaan, who return from injury to bolster the Sharks' hopes of pulling off the toughest of tasks.
Le Roux has not featured since the June Test series against Ireland when he returned to Durban with a shoulder injury, while Jordaan left the field just a couple of minutes into his side's clash against the Lions on July 2 with a knee injury.
Both players have been named in the squad and are, at this stage, considered available for selection on Saturday.
"To have guys of Paul’s and Willie’s experience who are potentially available to be selected is a big confidence booster,"Gold said.
"Paul comes back in and I thought he defended really well for us in that 13 channel and JP can move back to the wing. We’re pretty consistent with the team that we’ll be able to take with us."
Dan du Preez, meanwhile, has not been included in the squad after Gold confirmed on Monday that he will likely require a groin operation.
The Sharks left for New Zealand on Tuesday.
