Peyper to ref Sharks v Crusaders

Cape Town - South African referee Jaco Peyper will referee Saturday’s Super Rugby between the Sharks and Crusaders at Kings Park in Durban (17:15 kick-off).

Super Rugby referees: Round 5

Peyper will be assisted by Jaco van Heerden and Cwengile Jadezweni, with Johan Greeff the television match official (TMO).

Earlier in the day, Australia’s William Houston will take charge of the Bulls’ clash against the Sunwolves in Singapore (12:55 SA time). Houston will be assisted by Shuhei Kubo and Aki Aso, with Takashi Hareda the TMO.

Kiwi referee Glen Jackson will be in charge of the Cheetahs’ clash against the Brumbies in Bloemfontein (15:05). He will be assisted by Rasta Rasivhenge and AJ Jacobs, with Willie Vos on TMO duty.

New Zealand’s Chris Pollock will be in charge of the Stormers’ clash against the Jaguares in Buenos Aires (23:50 SA time). Jamie Nutbrown and Federico Anselmi will be the assistant referees, with Santiago Borasni the TMO.

The Kings’ clash against the Hurricanes in Wellington on Friday will be refereed by New Zealand’s Brendon Pickerill. He will be assisted by Nick Briant and Kane McBride, with Aaron Paterson in the TMO booth.

South Africa's other team in the competition, the Lions, have a bye this weekend.

Marius Jonker, who has been involved in controversial TMO decisions in consecutive weekends, has not been allocated a role in Week 5.
