Cape Town - A sponsorship deal between the All Blacks and Coca-Cola-owned Powerade has ended with New Zealand Rugby signing rival Pepsi's Gatorade as its new drinks partner.

According to the Stuff website, the five year partnership makes Gatorade the "official hydration partner" of the All Blacks and New Zealand Rugby's other national teams - the New Zealand Maori, Sevens, Women's Sevens, Black Ferns and New Zealand Under-20.

The deal with PepsiCo-owned Gatorade ends an All Blacks sponsorship with Coca-Cola-owned Powerade that spans more than 20 years and could see All Blacks featured alongside Gatorade-sponsored global sports stars such as Usain Bolt, Serena Williams and Michael Jordan.
