Cape Town - Former Springbok captain Jean de Villiers is set to make his first appearance for English club Leicester Tigers.

De Villiers, who retired from international rugby after breaking his jaw during last year’s World Cup, joined the Tigers in October 2015 but injury has prevented him from making his debut for the club.

Leicester coach Richard Cockerill told The Telegraph that De Villiers will feature in Friday’s clash against Harlequins.

Cockerill also confirmed that centre Manu Tuilagi will return after being sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Tuilagi was out of action for three weeks with the sore hamstring which came soon after his 15-month layoff with groin troubles.
