Cape Town - England coach Eddie Jones admitted that the his side needs to be "good enough" to defeat a resurgent Springbok side.

Jones named his 36-man squad for next month's home Tests against South Africa, New Zealand, 2019 World Cup hosts Japan and Australia at Twickenham on Thursday.

In July, England lost the series against the Springboks 2-1 and there is some concern over the team's performances in 2018.

Jones' England begin a gruelling programme against the revitalised Springboks on November 3.

"South Africa have been going really well. They have a new coach and have selected well," said Jones, as quoted by AFP.

"They play a traditional Springbok game up front and move the ball wide when they need to.

"We'll need to take them on up front and when we have opportunities to score points, we have to be good enough to take them."

Since taking over of England at the beginning of the 2016 season, Jones has won 25 of 31 Tests.
