Cape Town - Ricardo Loubscher, who was Springbok backline coach in the Heyneke Meyer era, is now helping out at Pretoria Boys' High's Under-14 team.

The former Springbok wing was an assistant coach at the Bulls before serving under Meyer for four years, but has been unable to find a full-time job since his contract with SA Rugby ended.

“First prize for me is my family and also to stay in South Africa,” Loubscher told Rapport. “I have 47 Tests worth of experience value to add, and ultimately it's about whether you want to make a difference.

”I would definitely like to coach in South Africa, but if it is not destined for me, then I would have to look overseas for other options.”

Forwards coach Johann van Graan and team manager Ian Swartz are the two survivors from the Meyer era, with both having received contract extensions by SA Rugby.

Mzwandile Stick has replaced Loubscher as Springbok backline coach.
