They might not readily admit it, but you'd probably find a lot of rugby-loving folk who believed Rosko Specman took a leap of faith in rejoining the Cheetahs last year. 

Not part of Jake White's shake-up at the Bulls, the 31-year-old gleefully accepted Hawies Fourie's invitation to come to Bloemfontein. 

Yet, despite the bullishness of a compact administration, the writing was on the wall months before it actually happened: the perennially unlucky central franchise would once again draw the short straw in being booted out of the PRO14.
