Wasps' Watson helps to sink Bath in thriller

London - Marcus Watson got the better of younger brother Anthony as he scored two tries in his side Wasps' 31-26 win over Bath in a terrific English Premiership clash on Friday.

Wasps - who had both sevens specialist Watson and South African star Willie Le Roux sin-binned at different times - claimed a bonus-point victory that saw them go second in the table, six points off leaders Exeter and four ahead of Saracens. They both play this weekend.

Hosts Bath's consolation for their role in the thrilling encounter was two bonus points which takes them to within a point of fourth-placed Gloucester.

Watson's brace and one from Dan Robson saw the visitors storm into a 19-0 lead but the hosts struck back as their Welsh fly-half Rhys Priestland and Jack Wilson scored to reduce the deficit to five points.

Wasps added further tries through Juan de Jongh and Fijian centre Gaby Lovobalavu -- who had come in at the last minute when former England international Kyle Eastmond was injured in the warm-up -- which proved just enough as Paul Grant and Zach Mercer went over for Bath.
