Cape Town - There are many who feel that former Stormers wing and fullback Cheslin Kolbe should be a Springbok, and he showed just why while playing for Toulouse in the French Top14 on Saturday.
With his side trailing 10-6 against Lyon, Kolbe received the ball deep inside his own half and set off on one of his trademark runs.
The 24-year-old sliced through the Lyon defence before eventually setting up Yoann Huget for his side's only try of the match.
It would prove to be a crucial moment, given that the contest finished in a 16-16 draw.
Footage of Kolbe's break did the rounds on social media, with the Top14 tweeting a short clip of the try as rugby lovers weighed in.
Kolbe, uncapped at Test level, is currently in his second season at Toulose.
Under the new SA Rugby policy on overseas-based players, however, he is allowed to represent the Springboks between now and the 2019 World Cup.
