Durban - The storm that was wreaking havoc in Durban on Tuesday was attacking everything in its path, including the home of the Sharks, Kings Park.
Some shocking images were emerging from social media as the rain bucketed down.
The N2 was flooded, cars were floating on the roads and structures and trees had collapsed.
Not even Sharks headquarters was safe!
The union took to Twitter to post a short video of what the storm had done to one of the ramps inside the stadium and its surrounds.
It is safe to say that any training the Durbanites had planned for the day would have been called off during one of the most dangerous storms of the year in South Africa.
Surfing, on the other hand, was a real option, even inside the stadium.
The Sharks, top of the Currie Cup log, are due to host Western Province at Kings Park on Saturday in the final round of group fixtures before the playoffs.
