Cape Town - Shakes Mashaba's Bafana Bafana will be targeting more of the same when they take on Honduras at the Olympico Metropolitan Stadium.

The FIFA international friendly, which kicks off in the early hours of Wednesday morning, gives the men in green and gold the chance to add to their momentum following last week's morale-boosting 1-0 victory over Costa Rica.

And they will be looking to make it three wins on the bounce when they lock horns with a Honduras team that impressed at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil despite failing to pick up a single point in their Group E campaign.

However, the Honduras team have a new coach at the helm in Colombian Jorge Luis Pinto and have recorded just one win in their five fixtures. As such, South Africa will be favourites to claim a win in San Pedro Sula.

On the team news front, Bafana will have to make do without the services of Thulani Hlatshwayo, who has returned home to South Africa following the passing of a close family member.

However, the remainder of the squad is fit and raring to go while, as expected, Mashaba has already named his starting XI for the clash.

The coach has made three changes to the squad that beat Costa Rica, with Jabulani Shongwe, Ayanda Patosi and Kamohelo Mokotjo replacing Bongani Zungu, George Lebese and Sibusiso Vilakazi.

The match is scheduled to take place in San Pedro Sula, the Central American country’s second biggest city.

Kick-off on Wednesday (October 13) is at 02:00 SA time.

Bafana Bafana starting XI: Itumeleng Khune (captain), Anele Ngcongca, Rivaldo Coetzee, Eric Mathoho, Mosa Lebusa, Andile Jali, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Mandla Masango, Thulani Serero, Jabulani Shongwe, Ayanda Patosi.

Substitutes: Jackson Mabokgwane, Ronwen Williams, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Clayton Daniels, Muzi Mashaba, Dean Furman, George Lebese, Bongani Zungu, Sibusiso Vilakazi.
