News that the South African women's football national team - Banyana Banyana - was going to run out in taped up jerseys because the new sponsor didn't cater for them is a disgrace that the South African Football Association (SAFA) can't PR their way out of.

Banyana are in competition for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic hit, in the Cosafa Women's Championship that starts in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.
