Cape Town - Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho looks set to be a part of an end-of-season clear out by manager Pep Guardiola.

After failing to claim any silverware in his first season at the Etihad, Guardiola is expected to engineer a mass overhaul of his squad in order to create a team better suited to his tactics, and the Nigeria international's exit could help fund for a restructure.

German publication Bild reported this week that a number of Bundesliga club's, including Hoffenheim and Borussia Dortmund, were reportedly in contact with the player's representative - which further fueled rumours of an exit.

Other City players out of contract at the end of the season include Pablo Zabaleta, Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas, Willy Caballero, Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy, while Joe Hart, Eliaquim Mangala, Samir Nasri, Wilfried Bony and Jason Denayer are also set to be sold in a bid to increase the summer transfer kitty.

The 20-year-old, who scored 21 goals in 20 starts for the Citizens is currently valued at £20million.
