Cape Town - Huddersfield
Town have agreed a deal to sign Norwich
winger Alex Pritchard after reportedly increasing their transfer bid to £10 million.
The Terriers reportedly made an initial £5 million bid for the Englishman earlier in January and have now agreed a deal with the attacker set to undergo a medical.
Wagner was at first pessimistic about securing Pritchard's services but now looks to finally be about to strengthen his squad's depth.
"I like him but I have my doubts if he will play for us because I know how expensive British players are in this window," Wagner told The Yorkshire Post.
"If we are able to get some British players in they have to be at reasonable prices. At the end it is all about quality. If it's one new signing with the quality to help us, good."
The former England U21 international signed for the Canaries from Tottenham in 2016 and has since made eight Championship appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
