Cape Town - Premier League champions Manchester City with the help of Fernandinho and new signing Riyad Mahrez have unveiled their third kit for the 2018/2019 campaign.

Following a record-breaking run that saw City achieve an unprecedented 100 points in a single season, the new third jersey reintroduces the famous football sash identity seen in many historic City kits, in a striking orange colour on a dark purple base.

The pattern is inspired by an aerial representation of East Manchester, with the Etihad Stadium visible within the sash, symbolising the club's pride at representing the City of Manchester in Europe and across the world.

Three young local Cityzens were given a surprise when they were met by players Riyad Mahrez and Fernandinho in the first team dressing room in the Etihad Stadium. They became the first fans to see the new kit

Matched with dark purple shorts, the striking new third kit will be worn during the club’s campaign in Europe this season.
