Cape Town - Wojciech Szczesny has admitted that he would love to return to Arsenal when his loan at Roma finishes at the end of the season.

The goalkeeper has been plying his trade at the Giallorossi for the past two seasons but has not made the move to the Italian side permanent.

With Petr Cech donning the gloves for the Gunners, it's unlikely that Szczesny would be able to break into manager Arsene Wenger's first team, but he remains eager to get back to London.

"I’m happy here. I feel I’ve grown as a goalkeeper but for me the time to make a decision will come in the summer.

“For now I’m an Arsenal player, as soon as my loan finishes, I have to come back [to London]. I’ve always said I’d love to be back there.

“Like I said, what will happen definitely won’t be decided now but in a month or two months’ time.”

Chelsea will lift the English Premiership trophy when they host Sunderland at Stamford Bridge in their final league fixture on Sunday.

kick off is at 16:00.
