Cape Town - Ivory Coast international Didier Drogba, who lifted the Turkish Cup earlier this week with Galatasaray, has confirmed he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, with a possible move back to Stamford Bridge on the cards.

The 36-year-old, whose final act in a Chelsea shirt came when he struck the winning penalty in the 2012 Champions League final in Munich, would be welcomed back with open arms by the Blues faithful were he to go back to London.

Reports have circulated in the past few months that Drogba could return to Chelsea in a player/coaching capacity, reported the Daily Express.

But his time at Galatasaray is nigh after he announced his impending exit via Instagram.
