Cape Town - Moroka Swallows have started preparing for life in the National First Division by organising trials for hopefuls.

On Tuesday, July 7 the team held trials to analyse possible talents who could fill the gap which will be left by many departing players.

Sport24 source close to the club said that there were over 40 players trying their luck with the team on the first day.

"You know most of the players are leaving and the team also needs Under 23 players so they had to start with trials," the source said.

"There were many players. It was over 40 players who came for trials but no decisions have been made yet.

"I think by the end of the week they will have seen which players they need."

Swallows have already lost players like Larry Cohen, Lerato Chabangu, Lantshane Phalane and Vuyisile Wana to mention but a few.
