Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns defender Wayne Arendse expects a hard running game against the 'tiki-taka' style of Chippa United on Sunday.

The Brazilians will travel to Port Elizabeth to face Chilli Boys in the first leg of their MTN8 semi-final tie at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Chippa have been impressive with their ultra-attacking style of play under coach Dan Malesela. Sundowns will have a heavy fixture schedule this month with seven crucial matches in the next 20 days, including the two-legged CAF Champions League semi-final against Zesco United.

"I think this is going to be one of those games where concentration and anticipation will come into play in a big way with a lot of the football being played on the ground," Arendse told KickOff.

"Surely tactics will come to play but at the end of the day it's a matter of who takes their chances the most. They have been scoring goals so we need to switch defensively.

"They like to play on the ball on the ground and so that means there will be less balls in the air from them. It is going to be exciting. I expect a passing game from Chippa because under coach Dan they like to pass the ball around with combination passes.

"We are taking one step at a time, we don't want to jump the gun. We are focusing on Chippa first - we know they are a form team. They pass the ball well and are dangerous and once we have played them then we will move on to the next game."
