Kaizer Chiefs attacker Khama Billiat admits that while it isn't easy to play professionally in another country, it is important to step out of your comfort zone.
The 30-year-old Zimbabwean has enjoyed a stellar career in South Africa playing for the likes of Ajax Cape Town and Mamelodi Sundowns.
While he has struggled in recent seasons to find his best form with Chiefs, Billiat continues to be an inspiration to scores of aspiring young footballers.
He was rewarded for his exploits for his club, with the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe Best Foreign Player award just this past weekend.
Speaking to Soccer24, the massively talented forward explained: "It is never easy playing outside the country, trying to deal with different situations, different cultures, different personalities in terms of the difference between countries."
He added: "We are Warriors, I just want to urge everyone that the journey should continue.
"It is never easy. If you are somewhere where you are having it easy then you are in the wrong place."
Billiat won numerous titles during his five-year spell with Mamelodi Sundowns including the 2015/16 Premier Soccer League Footballer of the Season.
