Cape Town City have welcomed back Thamsanqa Mkhize and Abbubaker Mobara ahead of their Dstv Premiership clash with Bloemfontein Celtic.

The duo contracted Covid-19 while on national duty for the recent Africa Nations Cup qualifying matches and were subsequently forced to withdraw from the squad and put into self-isolation for 14 days.

Both players have now completed their time away from the team and are now back in training ahead of this weekend's encounter.

A brief statement from the Citizens read: "Thami Mkhize and Abbubaker Mobara have successfully recovered from COVID19.

"The duo are back in training in preparation for Bloem Celtic."

Cape Town City entered the international break in tenth on the Premiership standings, with one win, one draw and one loss from their opening three games.
