Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs' Malawi international trialist, Miracle Gabeya, is said to be absent without leave from his club Big Bullets after reportedly having not let them know of his intentions.

The Glamour Boys have taken Gabeya on trial during the mid-season break, but he is in South Africa without the permission of Bullets, according to the Nyasa Times.

The team's general secretary Bizy Kalodzeni claimed the player told them he had left the country to visit relatives in South Africa and would return to resume club duties in due course.

Yet, it appears he had other intentions after Amakhosi confirmed he was one of four trialists at Naturena to be assessed by coach Steve Komphela in the first weeks of January.

Gabeya is still contracted to the Blantyre outfit and is not thought to be available for transfer should Chiefs decide the player is worthy of an offer in the near future.
