Cape Town - Former Absa Premiership winger Sameehg
Doutie has joined Swedish second division outfit IFK Varnamo after
parting ways with previous club Jamshedpur FC in the Indian Premier
The 29-year-old spent the early part of his career in the PSL and saw playing time for the likes of Ajax Cape Town, Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits.
However, he is now set to continue his career with Varnamo in the Superettan joining Bafana Bafana striker Kermit Erasmus in Sweden's second tier.
Erasmus currently plays his football for AFC Eskilstuna in the same division. Doutie's representative Ayanda Sigwili confirmed the move on a short term deal.
He told Soccer Laduma: "Sameehg Doutie has joined IFK Varnamo in Sweden. It is a second division club. He has joined the team on a short-term contract.
"Sameehg is happy to have joined a new club. He is happy for the new experience at a new club.
"He is looking forward to challenging himself and to play competitive football in a new team."
