DStv Premiership outfit Royal AM have confirmed the signing of former Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele.
The 36-year-old defender was released by the Buccaneers at the start of the current DStv Premiership campaign.
Jele reportedly turned down the offer of a non-playing role with the club in order to continue playing.
He was reportedly set to join Royal AM earlier in the season, but a move failed to materialise.
However, he was spotted in training with the club this week, and his transfer was confirmed on Friday.
A post from the club on social media read: "We are excited to have you around, Welcome aboard! Happy Jele."

Royal AM are fighting to avoid relegation and recently confirmed the return of John Maduka as head coach.
The Durban-based outfit will return to action on Saturday in a DStv Premiership clash against KwaZulu-Natal neighbours Golden Arrows.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
