Gavin Hunt says consistency is the most important thing as Kaizer Chiefs prepare to face rivals Orlando Pirates in the semi-finals of the MTN8 this Saturday.

Amakhosi suffered a 3-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns in their opening DStv Premiership encounter before bouncing back with a 1-0 defeat of Chippa United last time out.

They started their season by beating Maritzburg United 2-1 in their MTN8 quarter-finals, leading Hunt to call for consistency ahead of the tie.

Speaking to the club's official website, the Chiefs boss said: "Let us see how it goes, consistency is the most important thing in the game.

"We have a huge game on Saturday against Pirates. I am disappointed that we have not scored a goal from our strikers but let us win more games and collect points and get ourselves in the leaderboard.

"Anyone could have got a few goals but we will work on that. Team first and individual performances will follow."

The two sides do battle at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday as SuperSport United take on Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
