SuperSport United head coach Kaitano Tembo says his side will be targeting maximum points when they lock horns with Chippa United in Tshwane this afternoon.
Matsatsantsa will be in a confident mood after ending 2020 with three consecutive wins, a run of results that sees Tembo's men flying high in third place in the league standings, ahead of fourth-placed Cape Town City by virtue of a superior goal difference.
Chippa, meanwhile, find themselves at the opposite end of the table with just five points to their name after their opening eight fixtures.
That run of results ultimately led to the departure of head coach Lehlohonolo Seema, with Dan Malesela drafted in to replace him.
As such, Tembo admits he does not know what to expect from the Chilli Boys at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
"We are playing against a team that made changes to their technical team," said Tembo, as quoted by TimesLIVE. "They have been struggling to get results and that makes them dangerous.
"It's a home game for us and we have to focus on our game. We are going all out for the three points. I expect the boys to go at them from the onset.
"We have a couple of games still to play this month and will play them in a short space of time. Expect us to start the year by collecting the three points, starting with this game.
"We have a small and compact squad but we are disciplined," he concluded.
