Cape Town - Orlando Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza believes that the recent 6-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns is something that can happen in football but is not acceptable.

The Sea Robbers were demolished Sundowns on Saturday and also had to endure a pitch invasion by their club's supporters at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

As such, Khoza announced at a press conference on Monday that a new full time coach would be named next week Monday. He also added that he viewed the loss to the Brazilians in a philosophical light.

"A 6-1 loss (against SuperSport United last year) for this club is unacceptable. To follow that up with a 6-0 loss (to Sundowns)," he said.

"I'll be meeting the technical team about this. Brazil was beaten 7-1 by Germany in the (2014) World Cup.

"Arsenal was beaten 8-2 (by Manchester United in 2011), it happens. It doesn't make it okay but it happens."
