Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs head coach Steve Komphela was lost for words on how his side were unable to secure three points against Golden Arrows on Saturday evening.

Amakhosi conceded a last second goal against Clinton Larsen's side to spurn a one goal advantage, that second-half substitute Ryan Moon had gifted them moments after making his way onto the pitch.

The 1-1 stalemate effectively ended the Soweto giant's slim title hopes, that has been marred by last minute goals, leading to draws, all season.

In their previous two fixtures, Chiefs conceded in stoppage time against SuperSport United in the 2-2 draw, and the 3-2 defeat at the hands of Cape Town City.

"Very disappointed. And it's not the first time. I don't know how many setbacks we have suffered like this‚" he said after the game.

"You can't‚ you can't... you don't learn from this‚ and each time it happens you ask yourself‚ ‘But why should it be happening so often?’

"There was no reason for us not to manage that. Four minutes are gone‚ and it's just maybe the last kick‚ and you’re so unfortunate you concede again.

"And I strongly believe we haven't been fair with our supporters in a sense that‚ moments like these‚ they erase everything that they had seen throughout the match. And it's just sad."
