Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs head coach Steve Komphela says that Dumisani Zuma's quiet exterior goes hand-in-hand with his deadly finishing ability.

Zuma arrived from Bloemfontein Celtic ahead of the current season but has not yet been able to establish himself as a first team regular.

However, his stock went up when he came off the bench against Ajax Cape Town at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday night to score an 86th minute winner in the 1-0 victory.

Komphela says that in terms of personality, the 22-year-old likes to keep a low profile, but on the field, the Chiefs coach is confident in the winger's ability to do the business.

"We always knew the quality he possessed and that's why we bought him. He's a calm and clinical finisher," Komphela was quoted saying by TimesLive

"He's very subdued‚ quiet‚ not the kind of person who 'shows' himself. I had to scream at him just to get the monster out of him."

The Amakhosi tactician went on to compare Zuma to a legendary former Chiefs striker Siyabonga Nomvethe, who is now at AmaZulu and still scoring goals at the age of 40.

"The only thing you need to understand is the character‚ the personality. Don't be misled by his silence‚ thinking he is cold.

"He's not cold‚ he's lethal. He's like Nomvethe. He was quiet but he could kill you.

"The goal Zuma scored against Ajax was clinical. One-on-one‚ he won't give you a chance‚" Komphela concluded.
