Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has insisted that attacker Anthony Laffor will not be leaving the club.

The Liberia international has been linked with a move away from Sundowns after they fined and suspended him for late arrival from a break.

The Brazilians' off-season was cut short after they were reinstated into the CAF Champions League.

Laffor missed the team's 2-1 win over Nigerian giants Enyimba in their group match on Wednesday.

"Laffor is fine; Laffor was supposed to be here. His daughter is in hospital since Tuesday, I think the daughter fell...It is unbelievable," Mosimane told KickOff.

"He is at the Edenvale hospital looking after his daughter. He was supposed to be in camp [on Tuesday], but there is no problem.

"The disciplinary issues have been lifted. They [players] make mistakes, he came back late but we don't keep grudges.

"He got the punishment and we also fined him, so it is okay and he is back. He is one of us. Laffor has a contract with us."
