Former defender Lucky Lekgwathi is eager for Orlando Pirates to snap up in-demand goalkeeper Richard Ofori and defender Rushine De Reuck.
The Maritzburg duo garnered a lot of praise for their performances this season, and a lot of media attention ahead of their perceived move to the Buccaneers.
Former Pirates captain, Lekgwathi explained that the addition of the talented pair could make all the difference to an already talented squad.
He told KickOff: "First the goalkeeper Richard Ofori, I like the guy you know. Sometimes I wish I was still playing alongside him.
"He's one of the players I need at Orlando Pirates."
Lekgwathi, who won numerous trophies during over a decade with the club, added: "As much as the chairperson has assembled a good squad, I would also like him to add Rushine De Reuck.
"I watched him in the Telkom Knockout and I would give him player of that tournament.
"He really did magic in there and has been consistent in the league too. I remember against Kaizer Chiefs at Mbombela giving Samir Nurkovic a hard time, and I said that boy, if I was a coach, I would've signed him. And I so wish Pirates can get him."
