Cape Town - Chippa United boss Dan Malesela believes Sundowns current form makes them favorites to win all honors on offer this season.

The Brazilians are currently on a 19-match unbeaten run and secured their sixth consecutive Premiership victory in a 2-1 win over Pirates on Wednesday much to the delight of their home support and their former defender believes their success is down to the consistency of coach Pitso Mosimane's selections.

"Sundowns have showed great consistency, not only in results, but in team selection: you can name their starting 11 even before the game, that has played a huge role in their success," the former Cape Town All stars boss told Africanfootball.

"There is still 11 games to play, you never know what is going to happen, but they have been doing very well."

Bafana Bastyle were second best most of the second-half and Malesela believes that their ability to see out results under pressure will hold them in good stead in the latter stages of the season.

"One must say that even when a team is struggling in a certain game and they still manage to win they are destined for some success. They are doing well and I wish them all the best."
