Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka is confident his side will beat Highlands Park on Tuesday evening to maintain their winning streak in the Absa Premiership.

The two teams will clash at Makhulong Stadium and the 29-year-old admitted that the Soweto giants will have to dig deep to make it four wins from their last four matches in the Premiership.

The Amakhosi midfielder revealed that he is looking forward to the match in Tembisa, where he used to play as a youngster.

“It has to be three points. Of course, I don't take anything away from our opponent, but we want to continue our winning run,” Maluleka told his club website.

“Highlands Park are a good side. It is always difficult against them, as they are fighters. They also have a very experienced coach in Owen da Gama.

“We just need to keep our focus and be mentally strong. We have now won three games in a row and that has given us a lot of faith. We want to build on that. We want to keep the momentum.

“I used to play there from the age of six or seven, participating in youth games and tournaments. It was wonderful. I used to score a lot of goals.”
