Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Marks Maponyane has come out and said that he believes his former team won't win the Premiership title this year.

Maponyane feels that Chiefs have no depth in their squad and this has hindered their progress this season and not allowed them to win back-to-back titles.

Chiefs currently sit in fourth position and find themselves way off the pace with Mamelodi Sundowns 10 points ahead of them and, if form is anything to go by, Sundowns be crowned champions come the end of the season.
