Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes his side has collected enough points in recent weeks to feel comfortable ahead of their match against Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Sundowns dropped two points in their goalless draw against Golden Arrows on Saturday, allowing rivals Bidvest Wits to reduce the gap at the top to seven points.

The Brazilians face AmaZayoni, who are a further three points behind Wits, on Wednesday night and the Sundowns mentor is hoping victory will give the club a bit more breathing space in front of the chasing pack.

"It's a big game because Aces are close to us," he told KickOff.

"If we win the game, it gives us space little bit, a breather if you know what I am trying to say."

'Downs are enjoying a 16-match unbeaten run in the Premiership and, despite dropping points against Arrows, Mosimane says his side have won enough games to not worry at this point.

"The Aces game is very important - as long as they don't get more points than us, it's okay," he says.

"Because now you have to think differently; sometimes you want to win everything but you have to see who is behind you; are they getting maximum points?

"No. So sometimes you mustn't worry that you need to win, we have won enough not to complain. We have won enough, we have done very well."
