Cape Town - Unsubstantiated reports are linking Zimbabwean international Tendai Ndoro with a move to Kaizer Chiefs or Wits.

Ndoro parted ways with Ajax Cape Town last month, the Urban Warriors having paid the price with a points deduction and subsequent relegation after fielding Ndoro ineligibly last season.

Now a free agent, the former MP Black Aces and Orlando Pirates marksman is a proven goal scorer and it would be no surprise if he is on the radar of some of the PSL clubs.

According to an Isolezwe website, Kaizer Chiefs are one of the teams who have made enquires.

However, Amakhosi have recently signed Madagascar international Andriamirado Andrianarimanana and have the likes of Khama Billiat, Leonardo Castro, Gustavo Paez, Bernard Parker and Ryan Moon as forward options.

Wits are also sniffing around, although a deal for the Zimbabwean would be complicated.

The Clever Boys already have five foreign players registered for the season but with the transfer window open anything can still happen.

Ndoro's agent meanwhile confirmed there has been interest in his client, but would not divulge any names, while Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung has reportedly dismissed the speculation as untrue.
